Newly-Landed Position + Company: Deployment Lead at Southern California Edison (SCE)

Prior to landing your new position, were you currently working or in-transition? My contract with my previous company Halozyme ended three weeks ago.

How did you get connected to the company where you landed your new role? SCE recruiter reached out to me.

What allowed you to stand-out during the interview process? My lessons learned from a prior SAP deployment.

Did you encounter any challenges while being vetted for this new position?  If so, how did you overcome them? There were nine other candidates. I emphasized on my soft skills, primarily my transparent communication.

If you could give an in-transition executive any piece of advice, what would it be? There is a job out there with your name on it!

What events and/or resources offered by the Executive Network have helped enhance your career? M + B offered great support for my past two years of contracting. For the past years, ATS eliminated the human factor in the HR selection due to the sheer volume of applicants. M + B added the human balance to my career search; I met brilliant executives who shared great career stories and introduced me to decision-makers on my list of target companies.
