On a personal level, I try to remain active and love to hike and run. My wife and I trained for, and successfully climbed, Mount Whitney recently.”

I have shared with the groups that I spent 27 years networking within the four walls of the Pacific Life corporate office building, and not nearly enough time networking and connecting with folks outside of that focused realm.”

EN Benefit Steve Wants Others to Know About + Participate: “I think that members would benefit from regularly attending relevant sessions to meet new executives/peers and create new connections to build more branches of their networking tree. I try to regularly attend one of the OC Executive Networking Groups, OC Financial Executives Roundtables or the OC Technology + Life Sciences Roundtables, alternating on a weekly basis.”

Position Seeking + Next Steps: “I am looking for a COO role with a small to mid-size financial services firm, or a VP of Operations or Information Technology position in a larger organization to leverage my senior leadership experience, business transformation knowledge and ability to influence across functional areas. I possess a unique combination of finance, operations, and information technology experience with the ability to quickly grasp and articulate the big picture. I have developed, engaged, and cultivated key cross functional leadership teams, and have a positive track record around driving process efficiencies and targeting improved operational performance. Besides my passion in coaching and leading people, my greatest value is in bridging the communication gaps between business stakeholders, customers, and Information Technology professional, as I have a unique ability to speak these languages and translate to the necessary lowest common denominator.”
